Havelock Island is the most important of the islands that include Ritchie's Archipelago, a sequence of islands to the east of extraordinary Andaman in the Andaman Islands. It belongs to the South Andaman administrative district, part of the Indian union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The island is lying forty one km (25 mi) northeast from the capital metropolis Port Blair
