Itinerary

Day 1 :   Chennai Airport to Mahabalipuram (1.5hrs)

Meet and greet on arrival at Chennai Airport.You will be received by our representative at the airport, who will take you to Mahabalipuram from Chennai by car. Enroute you can see DakshinaChithra traditional houses and handicrafts of rural Tamil Nadu. Check-in at hotel.

Night Stay: Mahabalipuram

Day 2 :   Mahabalipuram Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit the places like Arjuna?s Penance and Tiger Cave and relax on the beach in the evening.

Day 3 :   Mahabalipuram to Puducherry (2 hrs)

After breakfast, check out from hotel and travel to Puducherry, the French town. Check-in at the hotel and in the afternoon go to Paradise Beach and spend time till evening.

Day 4 :   Puducherry Sightseeing

After breakfast, drive through the French colony (White town) and surrounding attractions. Visit Auroville, Aurobindo Ashram and Government Museum. Spend time in seaside promenade shopping and return back to hotel.

Day 5 :   Puducherry to Tanjore (3.5 hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Tanjore by car. Check-in at the hotel and in the afternoon visit the famous places in the area. Tanjore is known for its architecture and paintings. Visit the magnificient Bragatheeswarar Temple which is known as Big Temple. This temple is special because the shade of the tower doesn't fall on the ground.

Day 6 :   Tanjore to Trichy (1 hr)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Trichy. It is a mixture of temples and monuments.Visit the Rock Fort Temple which is 83m high, and the rock is one of the oldest rocks in the world (approx. 38000 million years). Srirangam is a 600 acre island-town enclosed within the seven walls of the gigantic Sri Ranganathaswami temple.

Day 7 :   Trichy to Madurai (2hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and move to flower town Madurai by Car. Check in hotel and in the afternoon visit Madurai Meenakshi Temple, Koodalazhagar temple, Sound and Light show in the evening at 17th century Nayak's palace.

Kovalam

Kovalam is a fixed of three adjacent seashores, sharing shores with eachdifferent- Lighthouse, Hawah, and Samudra. some of these seashores together form a crescent shape. The pinnacleappeal and the show stealers amongst the 3 beaches is the Lighthouse beach. The seaside aspect is a wealthy amalgamation of breezy air, rocky waves, swaying palm fringes and aquamarine water which quality appropriate for watersports activities.

Madurai

Kanyakumari

Kanyakumari is  the southernmost tip of India’s mainland. about 86 km south east of Thiruvananthapuram, it's miles the factor of confluence of the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean. Kanyakumari is home to some other unique geographical phenomenon that lets in you to witness the dawn and sundownon the equal seashore. The town gets its name from the Hindu goddess Kanyakumari, who has a temple dedicated to her right here.

Mahabalipuram

Mahabalipuram is situated about 60 odd kilometers from Chennai,Tamil Nadu.Mahabalipuram was a sea-port during the time of Periplus (1st century AD) and Ptolemy (AD 140).The monuments at Mahabalipuram got the status of UNESCO’S World Heritage Site in 1984.The Shore Temples at Mahabalipuram  is the only surviving temple of a set of seven such temples. The other temples are assumed to have submerged in the ocean.Truly a masterpiece, this site never fails to impress people.

Tanjore

Tanjore is a city in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu.It is an important center of South Indian religion, art, and architecture. Most of the great living Chola temples, which are UNESCO World Heritage Monument, are located in and around Thanjavur. The most popular among those are Brihadeswara Temple which is located in the centre of the city.Thanjavur is also famous for its local paintings.There are many places, structures and ancient establishments developed with Vedic engineering that are considered mysterious.The Tanjore big temple contains more than 100 underground passages to various places.

Puducherry

A welcome respite from the citys frenzied streets is the exquisite tomb of Akbar, on the northern outskirts, which rises from parkland grazed by gazelles and black-faced langur monkeys – like a picture from a Mughal miniature. The ghostly ruins of the palace complex the great Mughal emperor built, after his conquest of Gujarat, on a ridge 28 miles (45 km) southwest at Fatehpur Sikri is Agras other obligatory day trip.

Trichy

Trichi is the geographic centre of Tamil Nadu.Trichy has a strong character and long history.Trichy may have been a capital of the early Cholas in the 3rd century BC.Situated on the banks of the river Cauvery is the fourth largest city in Tamil Nadu.The most famous land mark of this bustling town is the Rockfort Temple. It was one of the main centers around which the wars of the Carnatic were fought in the 18th century during the British-French struggle for supremacy in India. The city is famous for artificial diamonds, the grand old Trichinopoly cigars, handloom cloth, glass bangles and wooden and clay toys.
