Day 1 : Arrival at Cochin & Sightseeing in Cochin
Arrive Cochin Airport and transfer to hotel. Enjoy City tour of Cochin -Visit the Mattancherry Dutch Palace - (closed on Fridays and public holidays), which was built by the Portuguese in 1555 and renovated by the Dutch in 1663. Visit a Jewish Synagogue-(closed on all Saturdays and Jewish holidays) in Jew Town and Fort Cochin Area. There are a couple of streets of picture-postcard houses out of another age. Visit St. Francis Church - (closed for visitors on Sundays from 08.00 to 11.00 hrs) the oldest European Church in India. It has several antiquities including a wealth of records. See the Chinese Fishing Nets, along the tip of Fort Cochin unique to this part of Kerala and living symbols of a centuries-old Chinese influence on this coast. Evening at leisure. Day 2 : Cochin to Munnar (147 kms/4 hrs drive)
After a breakfast in cochin hotel, Check-out cochin hotel and proceed to Munnar by car. This drive takes about 4 hours and you enjoy the hills ride, beautiful coffee/tea estate views. Arrive Munnar and transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, go for a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Enjoy the serene views which Munnar offers owing to its famous tea plantations, and visit Eravikulam National Park to watch the rich flora and fauna of the region. (Eravikulam National Park is shut from 15 Jan to 15 Mar; during these dates Park visits cannot be done but all other sightseeing tours shall be provided as per the itinerary). In the afternoon, visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam and Echo Point, famous for its echo phenomenon. Overnight at the hotel

Day 4 : Munnar to Periyar/Thekkady (124 kms/4 hrs drive)
After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Periyar/Thekkady, this is also known as Periyar. (110 kms / 3.30 hrs) Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the world\'s most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. Enroute visit Lock Heart Gap, Signal view Point, Anayirangal Dam, Spice Plantations etc. Evening for shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 : Periyar/Thekkady to Kumarakom (120 Kms / approx 05 hrs)
After breakfast , Proceed to Kumarakom, Kumarakom is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is a noted bird sanctuary where many species of migratory birds visit. The Vembanad Lake, the largest backwater in Kerala, is habitat for many marine and freshwater fish species and it teems with Karimeen (Pearl spot), shrimp (chemmeen in the local language) and prawns. Day 6 : Kumarakom – Alleppey House Boat (48 kms/1hr 30mins)

Day 7 : Alleppey to Kovalam (175 Kms/ approx. 4.5 hour drive)

Kovalam is a fixed of three adjacent seashores, sharing shores with eachdifferent- Lighthouse, Hawah, and Samudra. some of these seashores together form a crescent shape. The pride of Kerala and a testimony to natures splendour and human innovation, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is situated on the banks of the Periyar Lake – an artificial lake, at Thekkady. Here the high ranges of the Western Ghats are clothed in dense evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savannah grasslands. Below this thick green canopy roam herds of elephants, sambars, tigers, gaurs, lion tailed macaques and Nilgiri langurs.
A float in a "Kettuvallam" (Houseboat) via the spell binding backwaters of Alleppey is positive to rob your heart. Palm fringed slender canals winding through the huge expanse of paddy fields and the neat tiny hamlets coated up alongside bothaspects of the canals are panoramic points of interest you could by no means overlook. A house boat is about 67 feet in length and has a width of around 13 feet in the middle. The materials that go into the making are all local and Eco friendly bamboo poles, coconut fiber ropes, bamboo mats, coir carpets etc. The main wood used is Anjili. The house boats have fully furnished single and double rooms with sundeck, private balcony with comfortable chairs, kitchen and toilet with WC.
